All filler injectables used by Dr. Lieman have been clinically tested and have proven safety profiles. Major side effects are rare, but slight bruising, swelling, redness, itching at injection site, and a mild headache is common and temporary.

There is no downtime required after a dermal filler treatment. Initially, patients may experience mild swelling and redness, although these will resolve quickly. Bruising at the injection site is not unusual. This can take up to a week to fade, but typically undetectable anyways because of the discrete filler placement. Results from a Halo Lift™ treatment will be immediately evident. The fillers will remain soft and malleable under the skin for up to 72 hours. It is critical that patients do not rub vigorously or manipulate the treatment area for the first few days, so as not to displace the filler.

Downtime is minimal at about three days. There can be mild tenderness to the treated area, which can be managed with Acetaminophen (Tylenol). Swelling at the injection site is typical, and can occasionally be seen 1-2 days after injections, this is normal and should resolve within 48 hours. As with any type of injection, bruising is always a possibility.
